I love the location in Houston, so when my friend came to visit me here in Dallas and asked where should we go to celebrate my birthday, I jumped at the opportunity to eat at Drakes. What's not to love about a classy and old school Hollywood themed restaurant? It's one of my fave places for a reason and this location didn't disappoint. I usually get the Ozzy's Pizza but forced myself to try something new this time. I had the scampi crab claws, crab cake, and Pasta Zaza with Italian sausage. All the food was great! The claws were flavorful and a great portion. The crab cake was a great size and the lemon beurre blanc was a great complement and not too lemon-ny thankfully. The Pasta Zaza was the first spicy pasta that I've gotten that was actually spicy! You can see and taste those red pepper flakes. The Italian sausage was a great addition if you were looking for some protein. It was a very creamy dish. I thought it was pretty good! Our server was kind and attentive. She was happy to walk me through the wine menu and let me try a few samples before selecting my wine for the night. I'm glad to know there's consistency in these locations. I can't wait til I can return!

Gorgeous ambiance, good drinks and delicious food. The salad itself was enough to fill me up. Sooo good.

If you've never been to Drake's Hollywood, you must go-- it's at the top of my list of favorite restaurants! We've only been to the Dallas location. A Hollywood-vibe steakhouse with fun music, good food, & great drinks . The perfect place to dress up and feel pretty (or handsome) lol. Great for date night, girls night or birthdays! We sat at the bar and service was fantastic! We ordered: * The Mexican: This martini is absolutely derishush! A vivacious blend of tequila, fresh lime, grand mariner, and topped with limoncello foam. * Snow Crab Scampi: One of the BEST appetizers ever and Dean Martin's favorite appetizer: lemon butter-soaked crab claws! * Dry-Aged Delmonico: It was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time! * Loaded Mashed Potatoes: So creamy and buttery yet surprisingly not too heavy cause we ate the whole thing! * Chili Garlic Broccolini: It was seasoned very well, cooked perfectly al dente...sometimes Broccolini can be overpowered by the seasonings and these were not. I like my vegetables to taste like vegetables - lol if that makes sense... #tinzeats #nomnomnom

I've been to this establishment at least a dozen times and I've never had a bad experience. The food is very consistent. The espresso martinis are always amazing and I've never had a waiter that was not pleasant to not attend across the board and all areas and I will consistently visit or recommend this location.

We had an amazing experience at Drakes. The ambiance and service was incredible and everyone loved the food we got. Between the pizza, chicken parm, mac and cheese, and other sea food entrees, I would recommend almost anything on the menu. This has been one of my favorite meals in Dallas and I would certainly come back.

I've been wanting to try this place for years but needed an occasion and reason to venture to Dallas. My husband and I decided to have our anniversary dinner there. I love the vibe of the place. Very intimate and spacious enough at the same time. We were greeted and sat at our table. We had an excellent server who had plenty of recommendations. Started our meal with the spicy Caesar salad and crab Rangoon. We each got a steak, he got a tenderloin and I go the Shep's hawaiian ribeye. Then we split the macaroni. Everything and I mean everything was delicious! We can't wait to return for happy hour or a nice dinner!!!

We had a great dinner at Drakes! It's such a cool vibe restaurant... feels like a total throwback to old Hollywood days of the rat pack generation. They set the mood at the front door with a doorman, allowing you in to the restaurant itself, like a speakeasy. Our server was fantastic as well and the food of course was delicious. We started with the lobster escargot, which was really yummy. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of our dinners but we shared the classic pizza and also the Milo's lobster pasta....both were fantastic! My drink of choice tonight was a lemon drop martini, it was icy and delicious! It's a great restaurant overall, but because it's kind of tucked away, I like it as a date night restaurant.
